A project titled "An IT Support to the Progress Monitoring of NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) Scheme at Sultanpur" was completed at the NIC District Centre by a B.Tech. 3rd year student from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. The NREGA scheme is a central Govt. Scheme for employment of rural population. The scheme is being implemented in all the district of Uttar Pradesh this year i.e. 2007. The software is designed on Windows 2000 server platform. The front end programming is done in VB 6.0 and Access 2000 database is used at back end. Crystal Report 7.0. Software is used for generating reports. This software is an approach to develope a software solution for effective monitoring of NREGA scheme.The data is kept in clear manner in master and details tables. Apart from this, the data redundancy is also reduced. The software has screens to enter household details and work details and have options to print Applicant details, work details (MPR) and job cards. The software has login facility (user name and password) as security check. The flow of the program is as follows :- Allotment of Registration Number (ID) for each family memer of a family ->Generating & Issuing Job cards to each family ->Entry of work done,mandays ->Calculation of wages dues ->Generating informations The software presently needs to be improved for store & inventory management,human resource,planning & works and finiance modules. |
