Bharrat Jagdeo, President of Co-operative Republic of Guyana inaugurated websites ‘Trace your rootshttp://indianroots.nic.in & ‘District Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Nagarhttp://csmnagar.nic.in, during his recent visit to his ancestral village - Pura Thakurain Masra Nawawa, Sahuji Maharaj Nagar, U.P. on 24.8.2003. HE, The President was accompanied by Sh Digvijay Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs.

The website of Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Nagar, designed in the local language by NIC Sultanpur, presents useful information about this newly formed district like; historical background, geographical information, Forestry, Transport, Cultural and Social Structure, Tourism, Industry, District Administration, NGO’s, Important Government Telephone Nos. etc. CSM Nagar is home district of H.E.

The office of the President has registered the clippings of the launch of the websites at the official website of the Office of The President, Guyana http://www.op.gov.gy

A full fledged stall was established by National Informatics Centre, Sultanpur with the help of State Unit of NIC and local administration  by installing multimedia computers, laptops, digital projector, UPSs and other equipments necessary for the occasion.
